At the Memorial Hospital Los Banos Family Birth Center, our main concern is your comfort, privacy and security. With an emphasis on providing family-centered birth experiences, our recently remodeled Birth Center features large, comfortable birthing suites where our new moms labor, deliver and recover without ever changing rooms.
Our private Labor, Delivery and Recovery suites are equipped with special birthing beds with enhanced lumbar support, as well as a couch and pullout bed for dad or other family members. Each room has a walk-in shower with bench seating and an adjustable, hand-held showerhead. Every room is outfitted with a fetal monitor to assess the baby’s well being, as well as to monitor mom’s contractions before delivery.
The department also features advanced systems for infant safety, making Memorial a comfortable and secure place to welcome your new baby. All newborns are provided with a security tag to prevent misidentification and access to the entire department is carefully monitored and controlled.

Pre-registration allows Memorial to anticipate your arrival and provide a quick admission when you’re in active labor.

With a strong focus on family-centered care, and a top quality support staff, Memorial Los Banos is the clear choice for both general and limited specialty surgical procedures. Our surgical team consists of skilled and experienced nurses and support staff, working alongside the skilled surgeons and anesthesiologists who practice at Memorial.
Memorial Hospital Los Banos offers 13 newly remodeled, semi-private patient rooms and two private rooms, as well as great patient follow-up once discharged. Surgeries such as orthopedic and gynecological procedures may be performed on a “short-stay” basis. Patients are usually able to return to the comfort of their own homes on the same day.

Specialized Care Units

For patients who require special attention or intervention, Memorial Hospital Los Banos is equipped with a four-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that is staffed to provide 24-hour care to patients who need to be very closely monitored. Memorial was also an early adopter of a new life-saving technology called eICU, which supplements the intensive staff monitoring at Memorial with an added layer of remote monitoring. From an off-site location, a team of physicians and critical care nurses monitors our critically ill patients, and this team is in direct and constant communication with our local physician and nursing team.

Birthing Rooms (LDRP) - Mom labors, delivers and recovers in the same room. Our LDRP rooms are equiped with special birthing beds which have lumbar support, and a pullout bed for the comfort of the expectant dad. Rooms also have walk-in showers, with bench seating and adjustable, handheld shower heads.
Birthing balls are available for patient comfort.

Memorial’s radiology department is proud to be able to bring the most technologically advanced equipment to the Westside, providing our patients state-of-the-art diagnostics for early detection of medical problems.
Memorial is also equipped with a Picture Archival and Communication System (PACS), which allow digital images to be captured and securely stored on a hospital-wide network system. Our board-certified physicians, radiologists and technologists have quicker, easier and more centralized access to detailed images and radiology reports. Whether you’re receiving a CT scan, an ultrasound or an X-ray, our hospital staff is able to provide you with faster and better care. Our services include:

24-Hour Emergency Care

Our professionally trained emergency medical team has expertise to assess and care for serious medical problems both promptly and effectively. Open 24 hours, seven days a week, our ER department has a physician on-site at all times, and offers basic lab, X-ray and complete imaging services. Laboratory

Memorial Hospital Los Banos has a full-service, on-site laboratory, which serves hospital patients around the clock. The laboratory features a comprehensive array of testing and procedures, and can provide prompt results to assist our medical staff with timely and accurate diagnoses. Outpatient lab services are also available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Rural Health Clinic
|
At Memorial Hospital Los Banos, we understand that nothing is more important than your family. That’s why our Rural Health Clinic is here to help you keep your family healthy, and to do so when it’s most convenient for you.
Open Monday through Saturday, with extended hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., our Rural Health Clinic offers urology, surgical, orthopedic, ENT, gynecology and child development services to patients who quality. We accept Medi-Cal, Healthy Families and most insurance plans. Appointments are accepted for primary care as well as specialty services.
