Until recently, there wasn’t an option for HMO patients of local physicians to receive inpatient, outpatient and diagnostic services from Memorial Hospital Los Banos. Fortunately, that’s changed.

Now you have a choice in the matter!
You can keep your current health plan, continue seeing your local doctor, and receive access to your community hospital.

What do I need to do?

Simply contact your health plan and ask them to switch you to the new Sutter Gould Medical Foundation network to allow you and your family the choice to stay local for routine health care. By being a member of the Sutter Gould Medical Foundation, you also get access to the entire Sutter Health network should you need advanced services such as cardiac or cancer care.

You keep the same plan, and the same doctor, but you’ll receive access to the local hospital, lab, and diagnostic services that your family deserves.

Making sense of it all

The choices you make (or don’t make) today will affect what health care choices you will have available when you need them most. At Memorial Hospital Los Banos, we understand that health plans, and just how they work, can be confusing. Here are some online resources to help you understand your health plan choices.
